How to search Apartments/ Flats in your city without paying brokerage?

How to search Apartments/ Flats in your city without paying brokerage?
Searching apartments on rent? Students, newly married couples or even family tired of shifting apartments in your city? How to find a rented apartment in your city without wasting hard earned money on brokers?

Nowadays it is very difficult to find a proper apartment / flat on rent which suits all your needs. Especially for people who are new in a particular city, they are unaware of the place in the city and what should be the rent of a particular area in the city. So we tend to hire brokers, which would obviously limit to many factors like to depend on them to show houses and have to keep up to their timing.

For places like Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi etc finding proper place is like turning stones. Today in our busy lives we think to save our time as much as possible and spend with our loved ones, so all we want is to stay nearour colleges or offices andmarket place, and with that a peace of mind after we reach home.

First time in Mumbai……
I traveled so many times from Churchgate to Borivali to find an apartment for myself, that within a week I had visited almost all the places in town. Well I don’t know how many of you have experienced it yourself but I was totally unaware about brokers and their commission. I was charged 2-month’s rent as commission from the broker. To add to the same, after 11 months of stay in the house, the same agent contacted my landlord to check whether we would like to continue to stay and the broker took some amount just because he has fixed up the house for 11 months earlier.

How is klicrentals useful to me?
www.klickrentals.com helps you find a perfect home for you, which suits your needs without shelling out hard-earned money for brokerage. Not only people who are searching for an apartment but also for people who want to give their apartment/ flat for rent “ABSOLUTELY FREE”.Unlike newspapers, klickrentals.com gives enormous visibility to your ad post,as klickrentals.com is spread in more than 36 cities and 10 states all around India. Now you can sit back on your chair and find your “home sweet home” in anywhere in the country without getting out of the front door for your house.Klickrentals.com filters your search which would also save a lot of money which you spend on brokers.

Managing your ad posts is very important.
So once you find a good tenant, make sure that you immediately remove the ad post from the online portals. By doing this, you can avoid enquiries coming in even after the deal is closed

Delhi NCR and suburbs

After the (culture/tradition) of Delhi here it comes…. Construction, power, telecommunications, health and community services, and real estate which form integral parts of Delhi’s economy. Delhi has India’s largest and one of the fastest growing retail industries and therefore, land prices are booming and Delhi is currently ranked the 7th most expensive office hotspot in the world. Delhi is having one of the highest road densities in India it is well connected to other parts of India by five National Highways.

Today, Delhi holds the burden of additional population from other states. In search of better livelihood people from all parts of the country migrate to Delhi as there is Growth in infrastructure, new avenues of business and employment.

Because of migration from other states Delhi has become over populated and an extremely polluted modern city. There is hardly any residential space left in the city that is not occupied by citizens and dwellers, But cities like Gurgaon, Noida, and Faridabad shared the burden of Delhi by accommodating the increasing global demand of business and outsourcing in the city. The infrastructure within NCR makes commuting between Delhi and NCR an easy ride. Delhi has become a major economical force of India along with the designation of being called the metropolitan city of India and this is because of the increase in industrial development from last few years. As Housing promotes economic activities, raises quality of life, act as strong motivating force to generate intentional savings. From the social point of view house provides major economic security and status in the society. For a shelter-less person house brings about a intensive social change in his existence endowing him with an identity and gives scope for integrating himself with his immediate social surroundings.,.. Thus, housing occupies an central position in the day-to-day life of any person.

The smaller apartments are selling big! Presently, the maximum demand is for 2BHK residential apartments. The maximum demand for the 2 bedroom units is from the middle-income group nuclear families typically a middle-class salaried employee hailing across sectors,. This is liable for small families with small kids where a third bedroom is not a necessity and not meaning the additional cost. A lot of developers, who were primarily focusing on luxurious housing earlier, have changed their focus to the smaller units as it is said that “the pot of gold lies at the bottom of the pyramid, and that is where everyone wants to get.” The 2BHKs are doing particularly well as they tend to attract the first time buyer who is young, has just married and taken the first few steps of his or her professional life.

The real estate sector in India is experiencing growth in all its areas, be it residential or commercial . With as many as an estimated 2 million students graduating from various Indian universities and presence of large number of Fortune 100 and other reputed companies demand of office and industrial space has also increased.

Realty prices in suburban NCR like Noida and Gurgaon also increased because of metro rail services came into operation. With post-recession era dawning, realty sector in India is touching new heights. The growth also depends on the policies by the government to help investments in economy. In recent times the FDI policies adopted by Indian government have encouraged an increasing number of NRIs/foreigners to invest in Indian properties.

One of the striking features of industrial development in India has been the concentration of industries in and around a few selected cities and towns. This is perhaps due to the availability of power, transport, communication facilities and proximity to Government agencies etc. This has Necessitated the job seekers to alternative to migrate from rural areas to urban areas. This in-migration has in turn given vent to the problem of housing and other related problems. It is widely known that large portion of the industrial work force consists of middle and lower middle class sections who cannot afford high rents out of their meager incomes. But rapid development and urbanization, joined with the relatively high average income of its polulation ,which transformed Delhi into a major cultural, political and commercial center of India.

A Stress Free Home

How to keep your home stress free ?
These days everyone is on the run at work, home, with friends, family… all the time. Gone are the days where we can sit out contemplating on our lovely family or probably of investing your time more fruitfully. You desire these small joys when you come back home
tired.

The most annoying part would be not getting that minimum time to do such things when you have just those few hours to de-stress. On returning to your abode you wish you have that silken bed sheet to comfort those tired feet, well cooked food preferable steaming hot,
soulful music and a hot water steam bath, etc. It usually happens that we hope of these things but at the end don’t really land up creating and having this atmosphere. We are usually surrounded with the noisy kids downstairs, the loud volume TV in the hall, ladies of the house gossiping, etc. In this situation how would you even think of de – stressing ?

Here are a few tit-bits that will help you refresh…

Choose one spot of your home where you won’t allow any of the family to enter or use. Make that your spot of rest. Could be your window sill, your bean bag, katta in your society garden, the terrace or even a soft corner near the store room where people don’t usually budge in. Take about 15-25 minutes to just relax in silence and get the stressful day out of your head. You could support this relaxation with your favourite song playing on your ipod, phone or probably if you have your room with awesome sound system.

You should go in for a hot/cold water bath whatever suits your body temperature. You can add in by using aromatic body washes and relax your senses even more. There is sure to be one place in your home reserved for the deity of the house. Take a few minutes in silent prayer and give away all your worries at his holy feet. This exercise relaxes you from your mental pressures in the day too. Another way of de-stressing is indulging with children and their little games and talks at the end of the day. They are the best way to keep
you occupied into their world away from the noise and distress outward. You should keep away from the paper, technology and office work at that span of time. All these things can be kept aside for a specific span in the early morning and also at a specific place of the home. This will help you categorise your time accordingly and not feel really messed up.

Lastly, try and make your home move lively and cosy using good interior

ideas and tips. We welcome you to give us your suggestions/comments and also how do you work towards making your home stress free.

Tips To Decorate Your Rental Home

How to decorate your rent flat ?
This is a normal worry with the people who move into rentals. They are ever so excited to have their own comforts setup in the place they most desire. But they face this usual worry of no painting, no nailing, no scratches, etc warnings given to them at their initial move in
time.

What is one to do then ???

Well here are a few quick tips to make your home lively and comfortable without messing around with the rules…

Too much furniture… is a NO NO

As you move into your new space keep in mind not to clutter the place with extra furniture. The lesser the furniture the better the spaciousness and room for creating your comfort zones at home. You can spice up your interiors using single bright colours and great curtains to give you the lazy roomy feel in the afternoons.

Decorate with the LIGHTS

Lights are an important aspect to deal with. Especially when activities of reading, cooking, writing, etc are involved we need to keep in mind that decoration is a secondary aspect. The eyesight is to be well respected and given its required lighting. Otherwise a window sill that you can sip on a hot coffee in the rains can have a dim coloured green or purple light which is supported with a decorative piece like a lantern shaped or something like that. Each spot of your home can have its comfort with the correct lighting.

WALL SPACE is the best space

Using the wall space for the showcases or the deewans or probably for your storage spots is the best solution for keeping the look of your home litter free. This gives you an open view of your home and actually gives you a more breathe free attitude.

PASSAGE can be messed up!

For your favourite pictures, paintings that you would like to keep on display in your homes you could use side tables or long side boards to create a Photo display. Passages usually are the best spots to use for paintings and photos of your family and friends. I’m sure you
could use the passage for the same. Your property manager may get a little annoyed but this is one thing that you can easily repair and give back once you move out of that rental. Paint the passage wall in your favourite colour and get your favourite pics and paintings framed accordingly and create a nice display after con sulting someone from the design or art background. Also use spot lights over them to create a really amazing display. This will amuse your family and friends who drop in on and off.

Try these… and post your idea for a new tip for the décor. Suggestions/Comments are welcome.

New In Town ?

New in town ?

It’s but obvious to be a little lost and confused when you are new in town. New to your job or your education field or probably a newly married couple, every city has its bit to offer. Let us take a peek into a few metros first!

Mumbai…this city is always on the run. There may not be any area or corner of this metro that is asleep at any time of the day. Mumbai being the liveliest place to be in has its constraints. It is the most difficult thing to do when you need a flat or a workspace in Mumbai. Online sites provide you the best of options here. But you have to consider your budget, area of work and also feasibility. Travel and traffic is a big deal in the city, especially in the central area.

Bangalore… this is the city of your dreams. Absolutely apt in terms of its setup and infrastructure, Bangalore offers you an amazing weather, great work units, green residential areas and entertainment you would never be bored of. This is usually the place for the IT crowd and the people intending to have a complete lifestyle. Bangalore has its linguistic restrictions especially for people who belong to a Hindi, Marathi, Gujrati
background. People in the city are eloquent in their mother tongues that can be Tamil, Telegu or Malayalam and English.

Kolkata… A very colourful and old ethnic city is what I would call it. This city has a limited variety of lifestyles to offer but at the same time has unlimited avenues to explore. Work wise and living wise, the city would have its own pace to flow with. The city is not a very pleasant site as one enters. The city needs to consider the factor of cleanliness. On the other hand it provides you good homes, great food and lovely people to live and work with.

These are just a few of the metros we could speak about. Let us hear you out on these cities and any special experiences/ suggestions that you would like to add in too.

You miss the comfort of the soft spot on your lazy bag or the box of chatpatas which you munched on from the next drawer or probably it’s the blanket you have cuddled into in those cosy evenings, etc. Could be really anything!!! Let’s explore a few of them…

RADIO BOX

When you are alone, cleaning, cooking, reading, etc you would love to hang onto the most favourite media of all time… the radio. People usually stick onto their age old radios for a long span of time. They love the experience of tuning the radio station and chilling in the dim light of the evenings or cooking with the Roop  Tera Mastana on the background.

FAVORITE KNIFE

This is usually common with the housewife’s. They would do anything to stick onto their favourite tools in the kitchen. They are so comfortable cutting and slicing the veggies and fruits with that knife that they would really not think of replacing it until its sharpened a hundred times and then finally needs to be disposed.

COZY BLANKET

This is the most essential for a person after his long day at work or over stressed day with guests at home. One would like to distress himself in the cosiness of his soft pillows and warm blanket. I know of a few who haven’t yet given up on their childhood blankets. One of their prized possessions is what you could term it.

SCREW DRIVER SET

Last for the month, every man in the room would relate to this completely. He needs this essential in his smallest to largest requirement, right from fixing the toaster to his old electronic gadget. Handy and helpful is what he’d recall when you chat about his set of
screw drivers.

Such and many more essentials stick onto our minds…

Muilti coloured world

The world is a commodious place that embraces various cultures together and brings in an overall cosmopolitan approach. India is one such country that withholds multiple and uncountable cultures to explore and subsist with. That’s what develops for us a multi-coloured world of our own.

Gone are the days when casts and creeds resided as per their community and cultures. Mentality and lifestyles have taken a leap into a multi-ethnic setup. So have the constructions and the places of work. We have our small corners defined for our deities and at the same time look forward to giving our homes and place of work an international outlook in terms of its setup and execution as well. With the growing population and the advancement in technology, people are beginning to accept and some of who have already accepted a lifestyle transformation over a period of time. Living together and exploring each other’s cultures have been an integral aspect of one’s living. We get to know one another’s ancient history, living patterns, house setups, cooking styles, etc. We tend to discover newer avenues as we get to know one another.

The positive aspects of having a cosmopolitan society are the international exposure you and your children get and their confidence in present day world. There also is a possibility of children understanding the world in a wider perspective and gaining multiple exposures that helps in his/her development. Such children have a good hold on the English language and also give due weightage to their mother tongue along with the national language of Hindi. A cosmopolitan lifestyle has many more facets that enhance ones being. Multiple cultures, multiple colours, food styles, home decors, holidays, social circle, etc are a vivid part of it. At sunset it is at ones disposal to choose a lifestyle of his own and design his living abode accordingly.
